Leveraging data's natural univocal dependencies for AI correction purposes

Univocal dependency in data is best explained as the two-way dependency between different data values in the same data record and this dependency is more often than not featured in transactional Supply Chain data. Let’s take an example; in a delivery address you would always have corresponding city and postal code values with one city belonging to several postal codes and vice versa (depicted to the left).

This provides a natural dependency between these types of values and an excellent use case for our AI engine to be trained on in order to understand the patterns and behaviour between these two values. By analysing hundreds of thousands of values in minutes, our AI engine is then equipped to provide recommendations for data corrections without the need for human defined rules or logic.
